John J. Renard, DPM finished his 2-year surgical residency at Loretto Hospital in Chicago, IL, where he was the senior surgical resident in his 2nd year. He was known for his subspecialty of diabetic foot care, treatment of multiple arthritic diseases, biomechanic disorders, and sports injuries. He is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is well trained in a multitude of surgical procedures and techniques for the treatment of arthritic conditions, bunions, hammertoes, plantar fasciitis/heel spurs, tendon and ligament injuries, sport injuries, and joint implants for severely arthritic joints where indicated. He offers both nonsurgical and surgical treatments depending on which option best suits you. He practices general podiatry with a subspecialty in diabetic foot care, both in treating ulcerations and preventing them from recurring, so that ultimately amputations can be avoided.
